Jack Shuler
Owner/Chief Instructor/Trainer

Jack Shuler is the founder and owner of Jack Shuler Mantrailing Training and has been a professional trainer and handler of mantrailing Bloodhounds since 1978. He has trained and utilized nine (9) personal hounds for use as professional mantrailers and has personally assisted in the training of more than 300 professional mantrailing K-9's. Mr. Shuler is the creator and Chief Instructor/Trainer of Jack Shuler Mantrailing I, II, & III seminars held worldwide.

Jack Shuler has been a member of the National Police Bloodhound Association since 1985, and is an Instructor for this organization. He is also an Instructor for the Virginia Bloodhound Search and Rescue. Jack is a sworn officer of an Illinois Municipality, a card carrying deputy sheriff since 1980 and has worked more than 1500 cases for various law enforcement agencies. Jack is a former trailing judge for American Bloodhound Club from 1991-1999. He has served as an expert witness, and has been an Instructor for numerous search and rescue and law enforcement seminars.

Jack is an Author, Speaker, Breeder, Lecturer and Trainer whose Mantrailing Seminars are being held throughout the United States, and who has conducted training seminars in Switzerland and Wales.

Tom R. Vendetti
Instructor

Tom Venditti is an experienced Bloodhound handler and trainer. He has been an instructor with Jack Shuler Mantrailing Training Seminars since 1996 and is one of the founding organizers of the Extreme Bloodhound Training Camps.

Tom is currently a Deputy Sheriff with the San Miguel County Sheriff’s Office and has served as a mantrailing K-9 handler for that agency for several years. He is a member of the National Police Bloodhound Association. He has also developed and produced a full line of equipment and clothing for the Mantrailing K-9 handler, in conjunction with Jack Shuler. Tom personally manufactures the Extreme Bloodhound Gear trailing harnesses sold by Jack Shuler Mantrailing Training.

Tom’s solid training experience and commitment to excellence make him a significant contribution to our staff.

Behesha Grist
Instructor/Trainer

Behesha H. Grist is an experienced trainer and an instructor with Jack Shuler Mantrailing Training, and is the owner of Extreme K-9, a professional dog training business. In addition to her background in K-9 training for Obedience, Narcotics, Handler Protection and Mantrailing, Behesha is also a successful writer and is presently co-authoring two books with Jack Shuler, the first of which, "101 Mantrailing Tips" is due out in early 2001. Some of these tips are posted weekly on Jack Shuler Mantrailing Training's website.

As Jack Shuler's business partner, Ms. Grist provides professional mantrailing K-9 training, writes articles for publication, and serves in public relations. Behesha is a gifted speaker, trainer and Instructor for Jack Shuler Mantrailing Training Seminars now being held worldwide.

Jeff Kline
Instructor

Jeff Kline is a new and very welcome addition to Jack Shuler Mantrailing Training. He joins our team as a Seminar Instructor.
Jeff is presently employed as the Assistant Supervisor of the Illinois State Police K-9 Training Academy in Springfield, Illinois. He was a K-9 handler for 5 years and has been an Illinois State Trooper for 10 years. Mr. Kline is highly experienced in many K-9 training disciplines including, Narcotics, Cadaver Search, Building and Area Search, Aggression, Obedience, Handler Protection and Mantrailing. Jeff has been involved with the re-certification of approximately 72 working K-9's at the State, local, and county levels. He is a member of North American Police Working Dogs Association (NAPWDA) and a graduate of the Utah Police Officers Standards Training.
Mr. Kline's insight and understanding of dogs is exemplary. We welcome him to our team and know that his effective instructional style combined with his training skills will make him a superb instructor with Jack Shuler Mantrailing Training Seminars.
